Broome Public Library is stocked with over 22,000 items including books magazines, DVDs, videos, audio books and newspapers. Special collections include local studies and indigenous collections. Services include Internet, online data bases and library catalogues, inter library loans, holiday activities, weekly storytelling, Better Beginnings, monthly First and Second Birthday Clubs, author events, and photocopying facilities.

Membership & Borrowing
Membership is free to Broome residents on sighting suitable documentation such as current WA Drivers License, Social Security Card, rates notice, Horizon Power account, rental receipt or lease from a real estate agent and to travellers who hold a WA library card. Interstate and overseas visitors are asked to provide their credit card details and to sign an authorisation form.
Four items can be borrowed for a two week period. Items can be renewed, if not reserved.
Membership cards must be produced to borrow. Please report lost or stolen cards immediately so you are not held accountable for the misuse of your card. Replacement cost for your membership card is $4.00.
